I haven’t written anything here in a while, and to all you lucid fanatics out there, I apologize…
But today is a pretty important day. One that I am extremely thankful, to say the least. It is a day worth emerging from my online silence to write about. No doubt.
Some of you may already know why it is important. Some of you might not. You’ll quickly understand why though. This particular day has nothing to do with me, nor does it represent a national holiday (yet). That being said, lucid cause would not be here without it.
All of the great videos and storytelling you love wouldn’t be a thing without this date of July 17th. “Why this day?”, you ask? Well, today marks the day Shaffer Nickel took his first breath of the sweet sweet earthly H2O.
Shaffer is the creative mastermind behind the wonderfully inspiring and well-directed videos lucid produces. This guy doesn’t see the world like most of us. He sees it through an inventive lens with boundless storytelling potential. His art is one of a kind and sparks a passion within everyone that views it.
Anyway, I am going to keep this short, even though I could go on and on about this dude’s insane talents. Instead of describing them, I will just leave a few of my favorite videos here at the bottom of this post.
If you see or talk to Shaffer today, give him some HBD love but not too much HBD… ;)
